Hello,

I will have my first professional interview job for graduate nurse residency program at Wyoming medical center in Casper, Wy. So I am very nervous about it and I really want this job. I have applied so many places and I finally landed this interview. I graduated with my BSN ( from Missouri) on may 2014 and passed my board on July 2014

Can anyone give me some tips to ace this interview? ( consider the fact that English is my second language. I speak and practice Vietnamese culture at home) or anyone is working at this hospital? what's about Wyoming weather? and cost of living there?

I am living in Missouri for 7 years, so If I get this job, I need to make a huge preparation for my moving from MO to WY

Hey hope your interview went well and you got in the program! I too have an interview in early October, and I was just wondering what to expect? The HR lady said that I would be meeting each of the units managers, but the interview would only be half an hour. What kind of questions did they ask you? Did they ask you what unit you would prefer??

@ rush2sknnr. I am sorry I can't answer your question since my interview will be on 10/10/2014. So where do have your interview? same hospital as mine? if so when ? where are you living? are you from Wyoming? or come from out of state like me? I will book a fly and come there about 1- 2 days early before my interview day. Hopefully we both get a job. I am very excited though.

Mine is on the 10th as well at Wyoming Medical Center!!! I am from southern California and I am planning on going up on the 9th. Planning on flying into Denver since its a fraction of the price compared to flying into the local Casper airport. I think this program sounds amazing and I would love to be accepted into the program! How did you hear about the program? I heard that the interview consists of speaking to different unit managers. What unit would you like to work in?

I would love to join new nurse residency program, so I Google it and it took me to indeed.com, then went to worming medical center website. What time is your? mine will be at 2 p.m. I would love to be on any med- surg unit. Especially for cardiac one. Wow, you are from california, so I guess you are kind of familiar with Asian culture there, so if we both get in the program, I would love to be your roommate because we are both from out of state. I plan to get in casper on 8th and go back home on 11th. I am trying to stay in one of catholic church there or I can stay in hotel and explore this town. How are you preparing for interview so far? I have a job interview on 10/20 as well. I am flying from LAX to Denver then driving up. I read some really negative things about Wyoming Medical Center, but that information was dated 2011. Does anyone know anything about the workplace environment now? Its a tough market for new graduates and I know that beggars cannot be choosers, but I want to be happy wherever I work.

Hey I interviewed on the 10th and got a job offer a few days later on the telemetry floor. If you guys are planning on moving there let me know! It would be fun to keep in touch. What did you all think of casper?
