World Philippines

Published

I've been trying to have an appointment for the nclex exam online but a note keeps on popping up telling me that i have to call the pearsonvue exam center to make an appointment for the exam. Did somebody else had this kind of experience? Did you actually call the testing center in order for you to have your appointment for the exam?

By the way i have already registered at pearsonvue and i have already my ATT. I wish to take the exam in the Philippines, there in Makati City. I'm just having problems making an appointment. Please help me out.

Thank you verymuch.

:okay....im still waiting for my eligibility.....hope it will arrived soon then i can apply for july too...

Just remember, no matter what happens, to keep reviewing all the way to the exam date. Even if you are only doing a bit every day to keep the knowledge fresh. If you are getting bored then get a new book, even a small one. The shift in a point of view will make old information new again and stimulate you more.

over night att:yeah:

mod note, please post only in english as per terms of service

Is there anyone here who is planning to take the nclex on july 29?

And how far is the trident towers in makati from NAIA?

From Naia you should take a standard fare taxi (P30 flagdown) but expect to pay more than P200 for the fare. It will take at least an hour depending on traffic.

DO NOT use the yellow taxis or the "fixed rate" taxis for this trip, it will cost you a LOT more money.

Is there any cheap hotels near trident towers that you can recommend? How much would it cost me per day?

Thanks again..

There is nothing cheap in Makati, that is one of the most expensive places in town.

Try looking online for places in Mandaluyong, Pasay or Taguig.

You'll need to ask the hotel if they are near to Makati area.

You can also find a place near the LRT.

SOGO hotels have a bad reputation but nonetheless they are inexpensive, clean, safe and always located close to LRT lines, then you can take the LRT train and go down at Buendia station to get to the testing site.

Good directions:

From Buendia LRT Station take a Guadalupe-bound jeepney. Trident Tower is located immediately after the old Shell Maya station, just off the Ayala-Buendia stoplight. Examinees coming from EDSA (Buendia MRT or Guadalupe Tulay) should take an LRT-Taft-bound jeepney and alight just before the Ayala Avenue - Malugay intersection. Those coming in from Ayala Avenue should walk towards Buendia via Geronimo Street (RCBC Plaza and Metrobank GT Towers)

You will have to call the PearsonVue Asia-Pacific Number at 603.8314.9605. Please make sure that you have enough credits because the call will take more than 10 minutes and make sure that you have your ATT with you. Please remember that this is an international call.

Once i get to the testing center, what are the things that i should look out for? The first thing that i would do and what are the things that i am allowed to bring with me at the testing center? Do they have individual lockers in there?

If you do to the NCSBN website and check under NCLEX the bulletin there is a list on what is acceptable to bring to the test center. What I will say is study material is not acceptable and not to be brought into the center.
