Anyone here worked at PGH before? Looks like they're hiring. While waiting out the retrogression, might as well, right?

Thanks for the info, suswot! ^_^

I'm also lining up for the APCN Dean's Form tomorrow. I hope I will be one of the lucky persons who will get the said form. ^^ One of my biggest dreams is to work in PGH. Godbless to all of us.

See ya tomorrow!!! :nurse: I'll be there at 5am....though I heard that others will be lining up the night before the release of dean's form?

See you tom, suswot! :nurse: My friend and I plan to camp out at PGH tonight. :dzed: Extraordinary effort, I know, but PGH's worth it. ^^" We really want to get a Dean's Form. ^^

We already experienced lining up for a similar event. It was for the IV Therapy Training at another tertiary hospital -- we were there at 5:30AM but we weren't early enough to get one of the slots. Turns out there were people who came as early as 10PM the day before the registration. And tons of people showed up. We even surprised the Nursing Training Office, they thought it was a rally or something.

God bless to all of us. I hope we get the Dean's Form. :)

Hi. My friend and I just went to the DNET Office an hour ago, and they told us to go to the DNET Office at around 7am. Godbless to all of us.

/off-topic/ I'm from Bulacan as well! ^^

do they prefer RN's with a job experience or are novices welcome? :)

Is DNET only releases limited number of forms? The downloadable form and forms that are being distributed at DNET, are they different? I accessed the said form using the PGH group website. Is there a need for me to get it at DNET, personally? Thanks!

^ the APCN Dean's form is different from the downloadable Dean's form at their ygroup. You need to line up in order to get the APCN Dean's form and is limited to 200+ forms only. The one in the ygroup is for the N1/N2 position who have already passed the NPE.

oh my! someone from PGH called me earlier this morning and informed me that my panel interview was moved from Dec. 6 to Dec. 2... I dont know what to do. Not yet prepared. :(

Thanks, Drifter! Now, I understand. The form that I should get is the downloadable one. :D Do you know what's next after the NPE? I will be completing my requirements this week and hopefully wait for the their notice. How long do I need to wait? Thanks a lot!

Hi!

Been following this thread for a long time. Just want to share my experience with the PGH process. I had my Nsg Proficiency exams Sept 2009; panel interview Feb 2010, and*my final interview with Deputy Director for Nursing last May 2011.

Yesterday, got a call from HRD that I have to process my medical exams this week for possible deployment by January 2012.

Been a long wait for me and I'm in a dilemma of leaving my work and friends. Life-changing decision to be made.

"Patience is a virtue." INDEED!

Thanks Nars for your reply. :D Now, I know that I have to wait patiently. I am not yet confident if I will pass the interviews. However, knowing how is it being done makes me feel at ease. May I know if the questions during the interview were personal or nursing related? I wish that you'll finally be deployed when the year starts. :)
