What's the funniest most unusual baby name?

Nurses Humor Nursing Q/A

As many of you know by now, Kim Kardashian had her baby. As if you couldn't miss all the annoying coverage over every single detail. They named that poor kid North West. What are some of the funniest/weirdest/most unusual baby names you have seen? Could be a patient or someone you know in your personal life. And if you are someone with one of those odd names did you just learn to live with it or would you change it.

Well slap my forehead and call me silly!

I actually saw one of THOSE names in the newspaper: A-a!!!!! Yes, and I still couldn't even BELIEVE it!

Of course as with L-a, it is pronounced Adasha.

This is getting to be as tedious a trend as those 'jello'-named kids; but I have yet to actually run into one or read that name in the paper.

Not the name itself but rather, the spelling. Jynafir. Poor kid! She plays soccer with my cousin's girls. His kids are eight and almost ten.

Whycouldn't she be just plain old Jennifer like her peers. Poor baby! Imagine when she applies for jobs when she's an adult.

Chiquita. As in the banana. My daughter was in hospital 30 years ago. back then, the kids' rooms were quad rooms and parents didn't think anything about helping out with crying babies. Chiquita was dropped off for asthma and no-one came to visit her for more than a week! On the day the hospital said they were going to turn her over to social services if her parent/s didn't come, in walked mom. Mom heard me calling her Chiquita (Cha-Key-Tah) and went OFF! HER name is Sha-quee-tah.

Kid down the street's name means Royal. They've always called him Royal, since they don't know how to pronounce his name (it's some sort of African language, they're not even sure which!). They forgot how to spell it, since the only time they wrote it was when he was born. Parents went to register him for school and didn't have a birth certificate! Can you imagine how hard it is to get a bc when you don't know what your kid's name IS??

RodMonTrell. Just really? This was when Dennis Rodman and Montel Williams were popular. Don't know where the Trell part came from.

A family who are very religious, parents were both doctors of divinity. Kids were Canaan (boy), Genesis (girl), Mariah (girl), Barek (boy -from a Jewish work Brk, meaning blessing, pronounced Bare-Ick), and Sabbath (girl). Mom insisted they all have 'normal' middle names; James, Elizabeth, John, Anne, Joy. The boys had their father's last name, but the girls had a hyphenated last name combining both parents' surnames.

I know we've all thought "Oh my gosh, what were their parents thinking?" more than once!
