Best websites to find Nursing Jobs for New Grads?

Nurses Job Hunt

Published

I already check Craigslist and Indeed on the regular. Any other suggestions?

Careerbuilder.com

Indeed.com

These are the 2 I used to search. I like Indeed better, seemed to have more listings and had an option to click on a previous search & it'll show new postings.

Also can try Simplyhired.com, as well as hospitals you are interested in's web sites.

I googled "medical", "nursing homes", and "hospitals," clicked on the Google map, and every single red dot. If they had a website, I go to it, check for a career section, or just send them an email with my resume asking if they're hiring.

Good luck on the job hunt!

Specializes in NICU.

Indeed.com and search "RN new grad"

Specializes in ICU.

I used Wikipedia. Search "hospitals in XX" (state) and you will get a list. I used this list to find the hospitals' websites and see if they had new grad programs or not. I don't think using outside sources is quite as useful because not every hospital is actively advertising that they're hiring new grads. You'll miss a lot of opportunities if you don't go to the hospitals' websites.

I really like aftercollege.com

Nurse.com

There is a career section and you can check out job postings all over the country! Best of luck :)

I graduated in May, and have a full time position. I would recommend you DON'T rely on "new grad RN" job searches because there are very few out there. As a former commenter posted, go to the hospital system website in the local (or where ever you want to work) and look at postings. Many have experience listed within the job description, which might not be as much as you think. Good luck. Don't limit yourself as a new grad, often being creative and putting yourself out there in person locally is the way to score.
