    Good on you! I did exactly the same a few years ago and it was worth every minute. I've now gone on to uni to be an RN but that's a whole other story! Aged care is so fulfilling and important, and many people don't realise this, unfortunately. Good luck with your studies Janis

    I'm hoping eventually to go on to study Health Science (Social Science) at uni... Specifically studying the link between quality care (on all levels), socioeconomic status and emotional wellbeing.

    I grew up in a nursing household. I don't want to be an RN... I don't know how you do it!!

    LOL Maybe because i didn't grow up in a nursing household- I haven't been scared off yet! It's just something I've always wanted to do but kind of put it off for 20 years. Those areas you mentioned are of particular interest to me, , and there are so many areas to work in besides the hospital setting. I have yet to decide but I have a couple of years to work that out. I definitely want to stick with rural areas, though.

    Hi, I'm Beccy. I'm currently in my final semester of my Diploma of Nursing, through TAFESA. I actually found allnurses.com while i was doing some homework incidentally.

    hi Grace, im dennis, im indonesian n a was move a week ago. im a nurse in my country n now im looking how i can work in aus to be nurse. maybe u can give me some information or advance. thanks alot n nice to meet u.

    Hi I am Cathy, 44 and working as an AIN for the past year in community nursing with the aged. Loving it. I've applied to go to ACU next year to do my BN and will find out mid-november hopefully. Also applied for the scholarship too from teh govt. I had my first death tonight and think I am handling it well. Of course I've been through the deaths of my parents so this person's death, though, I got quite close, was not so hard to bear.
