Help Sign A Petition To Warn Students About Chiropractic Quackery

I just wanted to let US residents know that there is a hot new petition available online to get the US Dept of Labor to remove unscientific statements promoting chiropractic quackery as a career to unsuspecting college students. Please sign the petition at http://www.petitiononline.com/ajb2/petition.html and tell everyone you know (friends, family members, MDs, RNs, PTs, discussion lists, etc). Hopefully with enough support we can protect many students from wasting their careers and becoming future enemies of scientific healthcare.

:) I was very sick many years ago. I was unable to work for over a month. I had severe headaches,dizziness and double vision. All my MD did for me is run a bunch of painful tests and give me big bottles of narcotics. My chiropractors cured me. If it wasn't for chiropractors I am convinced that I would not have ever recovered. Thank God for chiropractors

I would NEVER sign a petition that paints any profession with so broad a brush.

I am truly very Sorry for your horrid experiences. But no way am I going to convict an entire profession for a few quacks.

How would you feel someone launched a similar malicious attack on ALL NURSES for ONE, (or even 10 or 20), making a horrendous error of judgement or committing a crime (such as stealing narcs?)....

Think before you act. This is wrong in my book. There are other ways to seek redress. This is just plain the WRONG way to go about it!

I couldn't have said it any better. No need to join in on a petition when it groups everyone into one category as bad. It's craziness. My chiropractors are awesome!
