I would appreciate prayers for today. I am off to court this morning. I need all the support I can get! Thanks! DANGGGGGGGGGGGGGG....I HATE this!!!!! :eek: :banghead:

Thank you, Bedpan.......it sucked....I cried......pleaded guilty with a plea agreement with the prosecutor, and the judge can go with that or he can do what he wants and send me to prison. Now I have to wait for over a month for sentencing. In the meantime, I now have a PO and will see her Thurs.

I went to a meeting after court....:cool:

Wubzy - I cant imagine that God's will would be for such a kind and compassionate nurse to be behind bars. However, I've been in your situation before, and was facing time as well (a lot!). I wasnt in recovery at the time, but had found Him in jail. They say that God looks over drunks and babies, I truly believe that, for when I went to court a liaison from the Gratitude House (a womens' rehab) showed up unannounced. The judge took pity on me and gave me a chance as well as a very stern "If I see you in my courtroom again, I WILL give you 30 years" That angel has since passed, but her words live on in my heart, "What will be, will be. There is a reason for everything that He does". In my heart, I have faith that you'll be ok either way, but I dont think you will go away. Tomorrow will come in all its' glory, but we must not lose sight of today. Today, you are free and sentencing is a month away. Worrying wont change a thing, you know that, but who could blame you? I wish you serenity in this tough time and peace that passes all understanding. God is with you sweetie, know that.

Hang in there. I'm glad you went to a meeting. Good things will pass if you stay clean and sober one day at a time, no matter what. :)

Thank you everyone for all your support and prayers and comments. This morning, I went to the probation office. The person I met with is not my PO. She told me that she is a probation pre-sentence investigator. She goes thru everything and tells the judge if she thinks I'm eligible for community control and probation. She was very nice, but then my addictive, paranoid self kept thinking, "The nice ones are the ones that will GET me...." She asked me if I had remorse for what I had done and I told her "Absolutely!!!!" I also told her about the ER loading me full of IV drugs and ending up in surgery to have my gall bladder taken out and that was when the addiction got its grip on me again.
