You can then go for the RN license after that, rather than go thru all these out of state steps?Oh I have a question, does anyone know how long should you put off taking the exam after your graduation in Nevada or Washington State? All of these requirements are taking so much time.

I never really thought about it. Family and friends suggested taking the out of state route. I just want to get all of these over with and become an RN. I'd love to stay and work in California but I have a feeling that the state will require more requirements for international grads. I'm pretty disappointed. I kind of wish I just went to school here. - Jun 7, '12 by muffinmonsterHi Kuyafern! How's your application in Nevada so far? I'm also planning to apply in Nevada since my application here in Cali just got denied too. Please keep us posted! We really need your help! By the way, do you have idea about the validity of ATT in Nevada? Is it 45 days or 1 yr? Thank you so much in advance!
- Jun 11, '12 by BluecrossWhat's up guys? i too am thinking about applying for Nevada. I just wanted to clarify if the Nevada BON requires us to have a local license from the PI. Thanks!
- Jun 20, '12 by andrea YvetteHi! i would like to know what reqt for nevada boards should be done from first to last?application to cgfns, toefl, application with fingerprint ,registering to pearsonvue?
- Jun 20, '12 by andrea Yvetteim also thinking A LOT if i'm gonna pursue california boards by taking classes to make up deficiency (which is really hard to find slots for foreign grads) ,or start applying for Nevada boards. i also applied for CA LVN and is still waiting for results.
- Jun 21, '12 by andrea YvetteHi Simsimi. how is your application in nevada? i have same situation as yours, i am foreign grad and got denied in CA. I'm planning to take it in Nevada but i'm not sure if i would be eligible. i don't want to waste time and money for another application.
- Jun 21, '12 by steppybayLook up "starleviosa" threads, she has posted a How-To step by step application into NV and the cost and time involved, it was fairly quick.
- Jul 1, '12 by KuyafernQuote from muffinmonsterHi, sorry for not replying sooner. i've applied for CGFNS and sent request forms to the my school in the Philippines. My school has yet to get the forms and then they have to mail it to CGFNS in PA. I've passed my TOEFL, I took the exam on the 23rd. you need to atleast have an 86 or above overall. Luckily i had over 100. For the speaking they need a 26, i scored 27. I didn't prepare at all. I'm quite greatful about the scores. as for the validity of ATT I read somewhere in the application of the Nevada Nursing Board that you must take the test within 3 months. I suggest processing for the CGFNS because it will take a long time.Hi Kuyafern! How's your application in Nevada so far? You can only have license in the Philippines if you are a full Filipino Citizen. What's up guys? i too am thinking about applying for Nevada.
