how long would it take to process for the nclex rn in nevada? approximately how many months until you were given the eligibility from the time you applied? thank you.
Hi Kuyafern! I'm just wondering how long will the eligibility process take in Nevada BON?It's required. I also thought that being a us citizen and going to school here from elementary - high school would would disregard the exam but it doesn't. I have my exam this upcoming June for the TOEFL. Currently waiting for my papers.
Hey Simsimi,
well i'm not sure on what I would recommend because both exams have their easy part and hard part. I'm taking TOEFL because I already paid for it. haha. I've tried some of the practice tests and it's not that difficult. It's just that you need to read carefully, and fast during the reading portion. In the Listening you just have to pay attention to the scenario that is happening. You can write down notes if you want. I forgot about the speaking part. In the writing part you have to answer a certain question and you should support your answer. You should check it out. Just search up TOEFL practice tests.
Oh I have a question, does anyone know how long should you put off taking the exam after your graduation in Nevada or Washington State? All of these requirements are taking so much time.
Hi, why not just go for being an LVN in CA? You can then go for the RN license after that, rather than go thru all these out of state steps?

Hi,
I never really thought about it. Family and friends suggested taking the out of state route. I just want to get all of these over with and become an RN. I'd love to stay and work in California but I have a feeling that the state will require more requirements for international grads. I'm pretty disappointed. I kind of wish I just went to school here.
Hi Kuyafern! How's your application in Nevada so far? I'm also planning to apply in Nevada since my application here in Cali just got denied too. Please keep us posted! We really need your help! By the way, do you have idea about the validity of ATT in Nevada? Is it 45 days or 1 yr? Thank you so much in advance!

I agree with you Hushdawg! i'm planning to take one of those English exams that they are requiring for Nevada licensure. I'm just not decided yet if i'm gonna take TOEFL/IELTS... I did some research and i found out that Toefl is more on american english and Ielts is british english... and if you have good command in English and too lazy to review for the exam, one should go for the Toefl...
