nclex necessary in other countries

I was wondering if nclex necessary in other countries?Correct me if i'm wrong,that canada,UK and australia are the countries that will accept the nclex if you pass?

The NCLEX is only relevant to licensure as a nurse in the US and many of the US territories such as Singapore. No other country that I am aware if uses a passing result on the NCLEX solely to determine if a nurse is qualified to practice in their country. Most US nursing programs have clinical hours that are significantly shorter than the requirements for nursing in the UK and the UK generally does not accept an aBSN as an entry to practice degree due to less clinical hours/experience.

Canadian nurse candidates take the CRNE or CPRNE exam. Australia does an assessment of credentials and experience then determines if one is fit for practice or requires additional training. (no exam in Australia)

A lot of countries require you to be licensed in the country you trained in. NCLEX is part of the US licensing system and as mentioned in the previous post only applicable to the US. Each country has their own requirements and expect you to meet their requirements which may include a local license in the country you trained in.

i'm from the philippines and what if I work in qatar,does that mean even if you are an nclex passer,they won't accept it?especially right now that I cannot land any hospital just to have an experience and also to enhance my skills..i've been out in the field for almost 3years

Why should they accept it? NCLEX is part of the US licensing process. Qatar has the right to expect experience but only they can say if they acknowledge NCLEX or not
