Can you provide some evidence for that statement?

Very broad to say that "most other foreign nurses".

I had 3,500 clinical (6 or 12 week blocks in one specialty area at a time) and 3,000 theory hours. Do you know what the hours of theory and practice requirements are for CA?

It isn't so much hours required but the clinical isn't done at the same time as the theory. This is what CA are requiring and there has been a couple of none Philippine posters that have posted an issue

cclegnonif you apply with texas bon,the cgfns will just evaluate your credentials from the philippines.have u read the texas board of nursing requirements?hmm,it sounds like your adjusting your status too..i just submitted my aos and im waiting with my biometrics.its ok to take nclex even without ssn.they will just ask for identification such as passport :)

where on the same track!:) i have some question for you:), i just received the report issued by the cgfns for ces and it indicates that i meet all the requirements.. here's my question:) they said that they send it last june 30 2012, to tx bon.

1. how long it takes before the texas bon receive it?

2. can apply online or paper? im a foreign grad. but "i do" have ssn no.

3.do i need to register with the pearson vue and pay $200 at the same time when i file my application to txbon?

4.can you tell me what did you do after the cgfns told you that they already issued a report to txbon ?

i will appreciate it:)

CES reports are generally sent via email so you if not already done so need to submit application to the BON. Delay pearsonvue until you have the OK from BON

I was asking for evidence to support the statement "most other foreign nurses" when it seems to be an issue particular to Filipino nurses.

one more thing, i have not processed my adjustment of status here in the US yet, but soon i will have my Social Security, is it possible for me to take NCLEX with just having social security? or do i need to be permamnent resident here? thank You!
hi! You entered the us as a k-1 visa?what are the documents you used to apply for a social security? I thought you need a green card first before you can apply for a social security..

HI:) I just Checked my application status online:

I agree that Texas is a lot easier. You only need CES heres the link:

but i have another question. i live in wisconsin and they want a lot here like TOEFL and CGNFS qualifying exam. since Texas is a compact state like Wisconsin, is it a smart idea if i'll just take the exam in Texas? Do you think they will allow me to do that?

Hi.I think were on the same track.I just checked my application online and I've seen that they received my report from CGFNS.Im waiting for their mail.but I konw nest step is the finger printing.I have SSN too and I'm adjusting my status. When do you plan to take exam?

Well, there are a few posts from Canadian trained nurses having the same issue with CA BRN.

i applied for ssn on may 21st and i thought it will be issued to me 4 weeks after that but then after 4 weeks, i still didnt get it and so i went to the office myself and checked about its status, they said my visa has expired already in here on june 15, so they could not issue me a social security. they will, after i can provide them an update of my status here and thats when i get approved for my AOS!. so yes you're ryt, you cant get ssn before getting ur status here adjusted.
