Graduated 2008 are we affected by CA concurrency???
- 0Mar 11 by angelaveniceJust wanna ask if foreign graduated last 2008 is affected by concurrency issue.
- 0Mar 11 by steppybayIf they are from the Phillipines, yes, especially if they graduated from 2005 to present (2013, not sure about 2014 grads yet) AND the 2005-2013 are applying after Nov. 2011, if in CA.
I can't speak for other countries nor the affected years the CA BRN is looking at for concurrency compliance for them.
- 0Mar 11 by steppybayQuote from angelaveniceIt's a case by case basis, but figure it's probably because her transcripts were "correct" and the BON (assuming it's in CA) didn't see anything they could considered as being "altered". There's still over 6,000 from the Phils unable to get their ATT in CA, some can't even endorsed over from other states.Someone just told me that her friend who graduated last 2008,just got approved.Thats why i asked.Thank you
So she's definitely lucky, but again, it's the exception, not the rule.

The transcripts probably were "correct" (as in not fraudulent) and probably didn't have any issues with concurrency. The classroom and clinical subjects probably were all done in the same respective semesters. That, or the person in question managed to correct any "deficiencies" somehow and was therefore able to be approved.Someone just told me that her friend who graduated last 2008,just got approved.Thats why i asked.Thank you
