World Registration

Hi there!

I just want to ask somebody here who has experience in processing for the NMC-UK with a previous experience in Saudi Arabia. Herewith are the requirements for an ex-saudi nurse to comply. Please do correct me if there are any mistakes or errors.

1 . Final EXIT Visa in ENGLISH

2. Police Clearance from Saudi Arabia - translated and stamped by the Chamber of Commerce

3. NMC FORMS - License verification from SCFHS to NMC ( to be filled up and sent )

4. Employment certificate from Saudi

- needs to have details of sick leave

-reference letter from employer less than six months with official stamp

5. Good Standing Certificate - less than six months

6. SCFHS Certification ( Gray Colored Certificate) copy in with english translation

7. Copy of SCFHS card

I know these are a lot but I just wanted to clarify on how do I obtain these especially that it has been a year since I worked from the hospital. Is it necessary to have these forms completed? thanks for the help.

TIPS and advice are very much needed. Thank you

Hi there, this forum is very helpful to ex saudi nurses. Here is my dilemma:

Ive worked in the kSA for 2 years, left the country with no COE, exit visa and police clearance, rather a re entry visa was given. I did not come back in the kingdom because I got married and got pregnant and have to take care of my young. I got my sc certificate and id. I am currently employed as a nurse for 3 years.

Im now on NMC assessment for docs and been wondering what to do now.

1. Do I really need to secure a police clearance?

2. For visa processing will they ask for it?

thanks in advance... :D

Yes they will ask for a police clearance from the country where you stayed for more than one year for the last 10 years. This is a new requirements to get a UK Visa. For NMC, in lieu of the police clearance, you can submit a translated copy of your EXIT stamp on your passport.

How long before I get the translate document? How much would it cost to have my documents translated? thanks

You just need to wait for an hour, maybe even less If you are only going to need a short phrase translated. The cost varies, it depends on the length of the docs they had to translate. On average, around 500/doc.

Called NMC today regarding my License Verification from Saudi Council, it was received in the UK on 20th of September but up until its not showing on my portal, the call was not much of help since the agent told that she can see the documents I have uploaded on my portal, I was clarifying to her that I was asking her about the barcoded forms as to why it is still not reflected yet eventhough it was already received, she told me she'll make a report to someone. It's a frustratingly expensive disappointing call to say the least. But to anyone who has any knowledge, do I have to wait for all of my barcoded forms to be marked as "THIS DOCUMENT HAS BEEN RECEIVED" on my portal before I get on qeue or is it possible that I am already on qeue yet theres no mark on my forms? One more thing, I have reference persons from a single employer, the Reference 1 has been marked as received in the portal, the reference 2 is not eventhough they were sent together, is this a normal occurence or something to be worried about?

Hi dee_nightingale, thanks for posting a lot of information but I am very overwhelmed with the whole thing and I don't know where to start especially with my Saudi papers. I would like to confirm if NMC will accept my police clearance which I obtained before I left Saudi last 2012 and 2015. With regards to the license verification from Saudi Council is it ok if you can give me an example of your explanation letter that you attached with the Good Standing certificate? I would like to have an idea on how I explain.

Your response is very much appreciated :) this is my email [email protected]

Thank you :)

Hi there, I am an ex-saudi too, and i just recently passed the CBT so i am in the assessment stage too. I am very confused of what to declare because I have 2 saudi employers. First was the private nurse experience for 3 years but I was not required to get a license that time. The second one was last 2013 to 2015 in which I already had my license. Right now, I am working here in the Philippines for 2 years. can you please help me of whether I needed to declare all of these or just the last 2 exp. Thanks! :)

Hi donnie,

With regards to your saudi experience, I would really encourage you to declare it.

However, in the employer reference section, you are asked for only two references. You can opt to use your recent employer for your references. Meaning, both philippine employer will fill up with reference 1 and reference 2.

With regards to your previous ksa experience, you can write a declaration and enclose your CV that summarizes your entire work history. The NMC actually will ask for your employment gap if you have not worked for the last 12 months after your registration in the PRC.

You can opt to use your latest employer but declare your saudi license, all you have to do is download and pay the good standing certificate, send the blank RAV form, write an explanation letter.

You can browse for other instructions on the previous feeds

Hi

I hope I can help. You can actually opt to have your two references with your new employer yet, you have to declare you saudi experience and saudi license. Just enclose an explanation letter and CV to support your application

To answer your question :

1. You may not take or get a Saudi Police clearance since it is acceptable to present your saudi exit stamp, just have it translated at NCMF, ORANGE OR LEXCODE.

2. Your requirements for nmc will be the one that you will be presenting for your visa requirements too. Please have your explanation ready incase they will ask you as to why you were not able to obtain the police clearance.

Or you can email personally the NMC to persoanlly assist you with this.

Hi

My apologies for the late response. Regarding about your police clearance, you can use it but you need to send your translated exit stamp from your passport to support that you have been out of the country. So in short you need to send the translated police clearance and exit stamp.

NMC only accepts police clearance that is within 3 months from issue. Additionally, you wont need to write and explanation to the UK immigration as to why you were not able to secure a police clearance prior your exit.

And as to your REG AND VERIFICATION FORM, no need to ask the saudi council, the NMC is aware that scfhs is not anymore filling up the page especially offices outside riyadh. Just pay and download the saudi good standing, blank rav form and explanation letter.

For the explantion letter, just indicate that you left the kingdom and you have no one to ask to have it personally filled up at the saudi council, and good standing would suffice to prove your practice in the kingdom. Or better yet, send an email to nmc to give you further instructions.

Hope this helps.

Hi. Hope your problem had been addressed. If not, I hope my opinion would somehow help. As a rule, you need to have all documents tagged as " this document has been received" and you were able to click the submit button.

In most cases if they were all delivered in one package, they should be scanned and reflected in the portal in on that day. In fact, their time difference is just minutes apart. Just try to call back if there might be a problem with your documents. A lot of cases had happened just like yours, either it was lost/tampered or you sent a wrong document or a wrong form. Take note, bar coded forms are unique. They differ per entry so make sure the ones you entered in the portal were exactly the same form being filled up by your source/reference person.

If that is the case, try to email the NMC instead. Email is good when you want to inquire or explain what had happened. Then you can follow it up with a call.

Thanks for this. I actually confirmed to my friend in Saudi Arabia that the form he used for my Reference 2 was for the Reference 1 and I almost died, ill be waiting for my friend's day-off to send the correct form. As for my Saudi Council form, ill try to call tomorrow as I can't get through the hotline.

With regards to that, you can call ask your agency or international agency in UK to ask NMC to print a blank form and scan for you so the correct barcode will be scanned, then your documents will be tagged online. ( no need to send a another/ corrected form) With that, you need to make a third party authorization so they can work for you on your behalf

I was able get through the hotline and they said the same thing about my Saudi Verification form, apparently I printed the same barcoded form for the Philippine and Saudi Licenses, the agent told me that they will sort this out by printing a blank form and that by tomorrow, it will be reflected on my portal. As for my Reference person 2, she told me that I have to re-do it, meaning I have to send another filled-out correct form this time. Stupidity does cost alot.

Thanks for your response :) I would like to ask another question regarding the blank RAV, good standing and explanation letter, shall I send it by post to NMC as well?
