CGFNS CVS report school records no response

Hello, I just need help for my CVS. I made an order last October 2013 and its already about 8 months of waiting.:banghead: I passed my local board exams in the Philippines and moved here in New York. CGFNS already received my License Validation Form and it says "MEETS ALL PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS" but my Transcript Validation Form still says "WAITING TO BE RECEIVED"... Last May 30 CGFNS already sent a report of my License to New York State Education Department and they (NYSED) sent me an email (June 20) saying that I need to send the school a form 2F that they attached in the email which says that the school must directly send my records to them and not to CGFNS. I am just a little confused because I called my school and they said they already sent my School records via the local Post Office and they said it should be at the CGFNS Office by now. What should I do? Should I still wait for an update in CGFNS website or should I send the Form that NYSED emailed me? I really appreciate your reply. Thanks in advance :yes:

CVS as far as CGFNS are concerned is completed so just follow what the NY has requested

Hello, thank you for your reply. I am just concerned because after they sent a report to NYSED my school just sent my school records. I am wondering if they will still forward it to NYSEd if they recieved my records. i appreciate your help :)

I am VERY glad I stumbled in this thread because I'm stuck in the same situation. I was going mad of thinking what I'm going to do.

In my case, after almost 9 months of waiting, my CGFNS CVS application for New York says 'READY FOR SUBMISSION' but my Transcript Validation Form/TOR which is supposed to be sent by my school is still 'WAITING TO BE RECEIVED.' So there's a high probability that the CGFNS report will arrive at NYSED without my transcripts.

I have read on CGFNS' old website that if no transcripts were received and 180 days is up, a report will be issued to NYSED, then it'll be NYSED's job to follow up with the school. And based from your case, it's more likely that NYSED will also send me a form requiring my school to FINALLY send my transcripts. Whew. Thank you NYSED.

May I know what happened with your application, since you have posted last June 2014? Were you given eligibility after that, and how long did it take? Thank you very very much!

Hi, I am in the same boat. I applied to CGFNS in September, 2013. I got a similar e-mail from NYSED in November, 2014. After sending a Nursing Form 2F to my nursing school in Novemeber 2014, still no response from NYSED. Could anyone share your experience please - how long does it take to get a response from NYSED after sending this 2F form?

I would call New York Board of Nursing and ask them why they only offer one place to get the CES done?

I would assume sort kind of financial kickback. The more people call and the more people who raise cane with New York Board of Nursing, maybe they will offer canidates the choice to use other CES services...
