CA BRN New Requirements For NCLEX RN international students

I had already registered online in Pearson Vue but I think I'm not yet eligible to take the test. Is there an expiration date for my registration at PV?

I received a letter from CA BON requesting for new requirements such as:

1. SS number
2. Local license in the Philippines
3. Copy of ur clinical rotation schedule for your cases: Assisted/Actual deliveries, cord dressing, and major/minor surgeries
4. A complete school curriculum hundred pages or more sent directly from ur nursing school to the board. (the board doesn't accept the condensed version of the curriculum
5. A one-page curriculum outline and academic calendar.

Fortunately, I had the first 2 requirements but I am worried that the last 3 will take time to be accomplished.

I am wondering if it's just me who have this requirement. Most of NCLEX passers I know weren't required on those listed above. It's really hard to focus on review while your thinking of this

you don't have to....its in your record of nursing program already, and your school is required to fill in those stuff....

hi everyone, i was reading all posts on here. i guess im not alone. i took the nclex twice already back in 2009 and 2011, yet failed. i reapplied last feb of 2012. Only now, after submitting so much requirements that i received a letter saying i have to go back to school and so forth because of some deficiencies in both theory and clinical classes. What should I do? please help

I have the same prob. like everybody too.I want to do the LVN but the BVNPT reply to me that they dont accept record from the BRN, i dont know why but i read in this forum some did it,to those who already apply the LVN which method to fallow? if method 3, was the nsg.exp is the same as the RLE?Thank u...

I just passed my application form SSN, Fingerprint (which you need to print out from the lvn site), 2x2 pic, fee of 150, HS diploma,55A-6, 55A-2 and 55A-12. And told my analyst from tha CABOn to forward all my school papers to the LVN free of charge.. still patiently waiting though... Hope that helps

Last mentions of CSU-Fresno that due to budget reasons and insufficient staffing instructors and not enough clinical openings, it may be offered in the summer of 2014. There wasn't enough time to get it done for this year.

With any changes, the actual program also has to be approved by the CA BON even if they are an accreditated school.

So, I called the schools in California (I called San Francisco State and University of San Francisco) and they both said the same thing, I can't enroll in their schools to take those courses/subjects that I have a deficiency in (OB, Med-Surg) - whatever you guys have a problem in. I don't get it. It's so stupid! The Board of CA is telling me to call schools so they can help me with those deficiencies but then when I call, no school will accept me because I already have a degree. They said I have to enroll again in the program. I'm really hoping to wait for any good news that will come from the meeting of CHED and Cali. If not, I guess I will have to enroll in a different state.

Any ideas?
