I had already registered online in Pearson Vue but I think I'm not yet eligible to take the test. Is there an expiration date for my registration at PV?
I received a letter from CA BON requesting for new requirements such as:
SS number
Local license in the Philippines
Copy of ur clinical rotation schedule for your cases: Assisted/Actual deliveries, cord dressing, and major/minor surgeries
A complete school curriculum hundred pages or more sent directly from ur nursing school to the board. (the board doesn't accept the condensed version of the curriculum
A one-page curriculum outline and academic calendar.
Fortunately, I had the first 2 requirements but I am worried that the last 3 will take time to be accomplished.
I am wondering if it's just me who have this requirement. Most of NCLEX passers I know weren't required on those listed above. It's really hard to focus on review while your thinking of this
I've been MIA guys. Sorry. =( I've been strictly reviewing and been out of town couple of times. Last I've heard from the director was from November and she said she would be emailing january for the response. The director already explained the program being accredited by the CABRN but the problem they are facing is the clinical instructors and also budget. They may be postponing the exam to 2014. No matter what guys keep your heads up, and don't give up. We'll all grab that opportunity one day and work as a nurse. Praying that I get mine this year. Well back to being an academic zombie again. Oh yeah to those who have me as a friend on fb, i deactivated my account. just give me a message and i'll try to help out. I will try to contact the director and have a feedback about the program by this month. =)

Hi! I am here from fresno. I did inquire at csu fresno last year (i think around july or august) , I even sent them a copy of the letter BRN gave me (with regards to the concurrency issue) and the director of nursing told me that its the first time they had heard about something like our case and at that time they were not accepting applicants to complete just ob and ms. I hope they would open classes for us international nurses. Please pm me what are the process on signing up at CSU Fresno.. Anyway, the analyst that i talked to before told me that I can also inquire at fresno city college because she thinks they MIGHT accept students but she's not sure. The problem with the city college is that they have a lottery system, minimum of 2-3 years wait before you could get in the program. When i called them, they told me to go through orientation first, then i can make an appointment with the nursing counselor to discuss.my case.
