I'm applying for Lawson State ADN evening program. I was wondering was their anyone who knew how many points you needed to be accepted. I will take my last prerequisite this summer, and I was wondering would they not consider tjose points and just go with the points I already have?

I'm not sure I know what you mean by "points". Are you referring to GPA, or points on the TEAS? Either way, I would call or email to speak to an academic advisor. They're usually very helpful about the specific requirements for the nursing program.

Some programs go by a "points system" by issue points based in GPA, entrance exam, healthcare experience, etc.

I agree with speaking to an academic advisor and having them go over what you need in order to be accepted into their program; each program is different, and the responses you are going to get here will be based on differing programs and standards across the nation.

Hey I am applying to the fall program as well. To answer your question about points needed: that really just depends on the applicants that are applying. Summer generally accepts with lower points than fall. Heard last fall the cut off for points was around 160. To answer your second question about your summer class: No those points will not be added into your point value. You must have already completed the class in order to get points for it. Good Luck!
