Been considering NP school but, is it worth it? It seems like is a very good job market for NP. I'm torn between South University and Walden University both online. Any thoughts?

If the career itself is what you want to do with your nursing career, then yes, it's worth it. If it's an idea you just started toying around with, it's an awful lot of work, time, and money to put into being unsure.
As for the schools, there are plenty of threads here about both, where students have had both, good and bad experiences.

Both are for profit and not exactly cheap. I wouldn't go to either.

I think the "good job market for NPs" is like the same thing they say about RNs (that there's a "shortage"). It just isn't the case. There are jobs- but, as with any career, a lot want experience and it may be difficult to find one as a new grad - depending on your area. Some areas are totally saturated and some aren't.
I agree with Dranger. I'd invest my money in a school that isn't for-profit.
