Anyone applying for Spring 2012 Gtech or Ftech adn program? The deadlines are fast approaching and I would like to compare points etc since this is the first semester to enter using the TEAS V. I have around 150 points at Ftch...anyone applying now have something similar? More? Less? My nerves are about to get the best of me if the deadline doesn't roll around soon!! :uhoh3:

I hate the new TEAS version... I got an 81.3 on version IV... I would've been extremely happy if I got that on this new version. But it's almost deadline time. So our wait will be over soon.

I am trying to get in for Spring 2012 at FT. I have 170 points. I would have had 179 if I would not have had to take TEAS V. I had an 85 on version IV and I only got 76 on version V. It was way harder! I was disappointed, but I will take what I got! Good luck everyone!:up:

We sound alot alike!! I thought I had around 162 points but I forgot to add points for the computer class. I should have 170 points also. I made an 84.1 on the TEAS version IV and an 80 on the TEAS version V. I agree it was much harder...having A&P, and Chemistry definitely helped me out. I think we are standing good with 170...but who knows since this is the first semester with the new TEAS. We shouldn't have much longer to wait. :yeah:

Finally heard back from Kathy at Gtech about schedules for E/W program. She didn't give me much detail but classes can start as early as 3pm, run 3 to 4 days a week, and can be anytime on the weekends. She said letters go out this week!

GOOD LUCK LADIES!! and come back and tell when letters start coming! I work until 5:30 so I need my neighbor checking my mail as SOON as I hear of them arriving!!

wow i'm super nervous right now..... she didn't hint how many were ranked :-)

Good luck to you as well, I believe the next couple of weeks some of us will be on pins a needles praying its good mail coming lol.

I usually don't get home from work until around 5 or so too....I check my email often during the day to see if anyone has responded to this thread with good news! My husband has Wednesday and Thursday off this week so I'm sure he'll be torturing me if a letter comes, haha. Good luck to you all too!!

Is that 100 applicants for GTCC? Wow, that is alot because they only take 40 in the Spring. I'm glad FTCC takes 72 both semesters...that gives us a much better chance.

I'm glad to see that most of you guys that post are obviously moms (from your usernames). I am also a mom of 2 little girls...a 3 month old & one who turns 4 on Saturday, Oct. 8. I REALLY hope I have good news by then so it doesn't ruin my weekend. :no:

awww you have a new lil one. i'm sure you will have wonderful news hon.. I'm hoping I at least get on the alternates list, because my score is only 146 compared to some. But I have two little one... my daughter is 9 and my son just turned 4 in August. So yeah we're some aspiring nursing student moms. :-)

ooh and yes that's 100 apps for GTCC. If FTCC has 100 apps i'd be happy lol.

It's comforting to know that I won't be the only one (if I get in) that will be juggling school with little ones at home. I just think if you want something bad enough, it can be done!! And we all sound like we want this pretty bad. nyanbensmommy1, are you from Winston?

My daughters are I were in High Point a few weekends ago...we went to the all flutters butterfly farm. My 3 year old loved it.

Are there any stay-at-home mommas, or do any of you guys work from home that can give us a heads up when the letters come??? This wait is getting too intense. I will be sending my husband out to the mailbox tomorrow & Thursday as soon as the mailman stops by (because I'll be stuck at work). :)~

my friend who got accepted last semester said she got her's with in 3 days... she is re-applying this semester as well and she has 162 pts.. she's getting worried because she received her letter by now. but I would love to know how many applied to FTCC
