  1. yes! I am glad! and then after 1st semester we only have class and clinical, no formal weekly lab! so 2-3 days a week (if they can get us a 12 hour clinical) and then SIM lab once or twice a semester...its really not that bad- well the daytime isn't and from what you posted the night time doesn't seem bad either! I just know that clinic hours become annoying during the day program because they can change up until the first day of class from what my SIL says so it seems like nothing is set in stone but we will be fine! I can't wait for orientation and to register! I am too much of a planner!
  2. Hey ya'l! Just a piece of info on the schedule- the part that says "SIM clinic rotation" that will only be once or twice a semester so that is GREAT- that won't be every week- UNLESS they have changed it from what they are doing with my sis-in-laws class- she only has it once a semester (twice one time)
  3. My physiology teacher must be the devil after reading these experiences! He in no way makes the class something that can be memorized, and as if the material isn't already a lot to take in, understand, and keep straight, his tests are set up to include 1- 3 "almost" right answers, 1 completely wrong, and 1 correct. Reading the book, listening and taking notes during lecture, and hours of rewriting things and I still have mediocre grades because of his format and not being able to keep 4 chapters of information straight enough in my head to get past the "almost right" choices. I will say that I have a hard time figuring out why/when I am ever going to need to know some of what I am learning, which may be the issue. I am hopeful that my NS material will be something I can apply as opposed to what I am learning now which seems to be so microscopic that my brain doesn't want to learn it!
  4. I had 149 at forsyth and still haven't heard anything either. Just an FYI a girl in my A&P class spoke with SS and she was told that top points letters go out, they wait for them to respond, based on how many accept they then send out a second batch of acceptance (my guess is next highest points) and denials for lowest points, after they get the 2nd round of acceptance back they send out a certain number of alternates and then more denials based on how many people accepted. Hope this helps? It helped me even though I am going with Gtcc-
  5. I'm glad you figured that out, I was wondering....def keep us posted!
