Calling any Watts School of Nursing Students!!!

Hi all,

I have posted a few times about my worries on getting into a nursing program and just wanted to share that I got accepted to Watts School of Nursing in Durham. I am so excited and I was wondering if any Watts students (or from other programs) had any advice on how they have gone about financing their education. I never had to deal with financial aid when I got my undergrad a few years ago and Watts is pretty pricey, (about $30,000). I plan to do the tuition reimbursement program with Duke when I graduate but I'm worried about what to do right now. Any advice on financial aid or private loan experiences would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!!:heartbeat

Hey Guys,

Im taking my admission test again on Feb 17th. Keep me in your prayers and I'll keep you posted. Trying to study when my 4 and 2 yr old allows! lol:D

Just wondering if anyone knows what the dress code is for wson? In some of the pictures I see the student nurses in a dress type uniform. If you know anything about it please let me know...Thanks : )

The used to have dresses.

I believe as of this year they are now in blue pants and white tops.

My wife has one of the dresses and it's still their uniform.

When she's in it, she calls herself "The Marriott Maid"

Oh WOW! The Marriott Maid...lol So seriously we have to wear the dress??? My husband thinks its funny that I might have to wear the uniform....I am a mom of three boys and I am more of a jeans and sneakers kind of gal so for them to see me in that is going to hell on me at home.LOL
