I started my pre reqs in June of this yr but you can feel free to email me anytime with questions. I met a girl on here that is in the cohort before mine and it real is nice to have someone ahead of you to ask questions. Plus she is really nice. Do you have facebook? Hello! I started my pre reqs this month and am going to start my nursing classes in Jan 2010. Just wondered how you current nursing students were doing and see if you had any advice for us up and coming! Im an older student to! Or as they call us "mature" student, lol.

Hey Guys, Just had my financial aid meeting with Mt Olive. It went well. I wont owe anything for Watts but for Mt Olive I will owe some. So now Im on the hunt for a student loan to pay for the balance and get a little extra for household expenses, the only problem is it get released to the school first then they will send my part to me which would be fine except I was told the loan wont even be received by the school till around Oct? I start pre reqs in June and we would need it before Oct. Anyone have some feedback/knowledge they can share on loans?

Lilloman-I called Watts and she said that we are starting in June, June 2nd. Im guessing we will just be in separate class rooms? She said you guys were starting your nursing classes in July.

Lilloman, what is your last day of pre reqs?

Lilloman-I believe we start June 2nd. I know our orientation is June 1st.

Im sorry, I didn't mean actual money! lol I meant who you went through to get them. But you said you went through cfnc.org. Did you have to go through MOC or you just did it directly through them? Thanks for the info.

Hey Lilloman, Can you recommend any student loans? Im looking for non credit based. We were one of the ones who lost our home from my husbands job loss in Ohio. Im also going to use one of the lenders on the list MOC sent me. So you are working or doing an externship while going to Watts?

So everything is going well. Got my financial package/aid letter? Im new at this stuff. I was nervous about not having enough money for school since I wont be working even my little pt job beginning June when my classes start but I know God will provide. He didn't bring me this far not to complete this! Thanks Reecee again for explaining stuff I didn't get and your support since I called you totally confused, lol. Im really excited and looking forward to June. And Reecee what ARE you wearing our first day? lol

Hey Lizzo, I totally feel you on the nervousness. I was nervous about the same thing, I think we all were. It's like you get past each step and then you start to think to much about the next step! lol This place is GREAT for support, advice and just to vent or blow off steam.

Hi everyone! Got my official acceptance letter yesterday from Watts. Im in the June class! Im so excited. We will be in class together Reecee! YAY!!!
