    I'm in NC, and familiar with the AHEC centers around the state, but don't understand what you mean by "doing AHEC" -- ???

    Working in one of the AHEC centers.

    Looking for information about working conditions, hours, salary, training, etc.

    Sorry Bob .... took me a little while as I was not understanding what you were asking. There is a MAHEC here in Asheville - Mountain Area Health Education Center. Have several friends that work there and they love it. Working conditions are wonderful, pay is competitive and the environment is very good. It is a great opportunity. Are you considering working for AHEC in your area?

    I was half asleep when I posted.
    It made sense at the time, but reading it cold ......

    Actually, I was looking toward the mountains (but she loves the beach).
    Low pay, long hours, unappreciated..... that's what I'm looking for.
