Hey all! Just wanted to lend my support to anyone else who is applying to SB next summer! It's a grueling process :-)):yeah:

Specializes in ICU / PCU / Telemetry / Oncology.
 ... :chair:

Ahahahahahaha! Thinking the same thing!

I graduated and passed the state exam and am now a Certified Nursing Assistant. I got a job at the Long Island State Vets Home at SBUMC, I start on Thursday. I'm now a state employee. I'm so thankful to have a job in health care until I get into nursing school.

For the CNA program, it was at Stony Brook. 8 week program, full time. It was a great program, everyone from the class got offered jobs either at the Vets home or the hospital. :)

My class was 9/29/11 - 11/18/11. They only offer it twice a year, the next class I believe is next April. They only take 16 people out of hundreds of applicants. 444-8712 is the general information number for this program. It tells you how to apply for it.

anyone else going crazy yet, or am I the only person unable to keep my composure??

At this point in the semester, I think I would trade places with you :lol2: ... then again, you may very well know my pain a year from now ... :p

I check my solar account on a regular basis to see if anything changes!

Its always in the back of my head. The what ifs, the possible outcomes of their decision making. What can we do? Nothing but sit. And wait. And hope. And pray!!!
