Hello I recently applied for a position at NYU, they sent me an email recently saying to complete an online questionnaire or assessment tool. Is that a good sign? Do I have a good chance of hearing back?

Hi! I just found this thread while searching for information about NYU's nurse residency....I received an email a few days ago but after I responded, I didn't hear back regarding when the actual dates were for the interview events. Do you happen to know the exact dates? Thanks for your help!

I actually did but it just so happens I recently went on an interview with Northwell and was offered a position! It was so weird how the timing worked out but I ended up accepting the position with Northwell. Best of luck to you, I hope everything works out for you with NYU!

lbsimeon- Sometime this week/next week. PeriOp is October 5th. I'm not sure of any other dates but im sure someone will be in touch via email.

Hey, I also got the email about the interview, and never got a response after I emailed them back. However I emailed them again Friday and they said the inpatient interview is on the 12th. They didn't give me any other information I am guessing when it gets closer they will give out more info.

Hi everyone! Thanks for all of the information, it was incredibly helpful! I was wondering if anyone had the 15-minute phone screening yet? And if you did, how was it?! What type of questions were asked?! And did she/he give a list of interview dates for different units in October? Thank you in advance!

Hi everyone! I just applied to the winter nurse residency program and was contacted by the recruiter the next day, saying to contact her in early November for the 15 minute phone screening. I graduate in mid December. I was wondering whether anybody had any advice going forward/ is in the same boat/ knows of any recruitment events coming up? thanks!

hi animallovr94, from what I can remember about the phone screening....I was asked what units I liked, what my favorite clinical rotation was and why, and why did I get into nursing...there were more questions but nothing too difficult, just general getting to know you type of questions

Hey all!!

I am also a new grad!!! I never got a phone screen but got invited to the interview day Oct 12 and gave them my references etc.. Anyone else going to the interview day this week?

Also anyone know if we can interview for multiple positions??
