Hello I recently applied for a position at NYU, they sent me an email recently saying to complete an online questionnaire or assessment tool. Is that a good sign? Do I have a good chance of hearing back?
Hey KrisSik9921,
I'm in the same situation as you, when I last spoke to her she said hopefully something will open up after Labor day and I'll be emailed directly! The waiting game is so frustrating but I'm glad we are still hearing similar things. Hopefully this will end up working out for us!
Same here! I spoke to my recruiter maybe around 2 weeks ago and I had asked about like other opportunities for new grad because i mentioned that all the other positions posted online for NYU seemed to want experience and so she explained that all new grads that are hired go through the residency so whenever positions open up thats when interviews will resume.
Hey guys, I figured I'd try and give some input as I was recently hired at NYU Langone as a new grad. When I applied, I submitted an application to all positions they had open, not just ones that specified they were for new grads. As you guys mentioned, every new grad RN goes through the lengthy orientation program regardless of whether or not you applied for it. So my advice to you is to just apply to the positions anyway.
It's great that you guys are in contact with the recruiters. I hope you guys get some good news soon!

Hey RNchaANurse,
One of my friends from nursing school just applied to NYU with less than a 3.5 and got a call back for an interview so I don't think GPA is a huge huge part! But as people said above, I don't think they have a lot of open spots, so maybe just keep waiting. I also never got a pass/fail on the assessment so I don't think you ever really hear back about that stuff.
I'm sure you're fine but it definitely sucks to wait!
