NYU ABSN Fall 2013 Entry

Hello everyone! I have submitted my application and my transcripts to NYU for the ABSN program beginning in fall 2013! I am very excited but surprised that we will be hearing so late about an admission decision. Is anyone else applying?

On friday I dropped off at the office a note from my NYU Chem professor stating I had an A going into the final. I then sent them a follow-up email on Sunday restating the note and that my summer courses are dependent on the decision. Still no word. So I guess sometimes correspondence works, other times it doesn't.

I got rejected today too. I'm also applying to Stony Brook, Hunter, and Downstate. Maybe Seton Hall too. Good luck to everyone who is still waiting!

Anything this morning? I really thought today was the day but if they follow the Tues/Thurs before 9:30 AM pattern it's not happening for me today.

Anyone out there still waiting to hear on finishing prerequs this Fall at NYU and starting with the Spring 2014 Cohort?

I emailed Sunday and spoke with a counselor yesterday who confirmed they had the note from my Chem professor. I thought for sure today!

What is frustrating is that I think they make decisions the day before the emails go out. So since next Monday is a holiday we probably won't hear anything next Tuesday.
