Mairayhans, Goodluck to you as well.. I have graduated from UCSD with a 3.2 undergrad gpa with a Psychology Degree. I Have volunteered at numerous places including home of the aging, hospitals, and clinics. My prereq gpa is a 3.6. I have work experience as a substance abuse counselor working directly with the head Registered Nurse. How about you? I am nervous I didn't hear back from NYU or PACE yet. I got accepted to Barnes College in St Louis missiouri, but for Fall 2014. I heard some people actually emailed NYU and then received a notification within a few days. Do you think we should do that?

Mairayhans, Your on the boards for NYU ABSN fall 2013 as well correct? Did you hear anything back from them? I am still waiting. I also applied to Pace and havent heard anything from them either. Does Pace inform via email or via letters in the mail?

Justabitoff, Agreed completely. I applied in february because I thought that we would hear back by mid april to late april latest. Apparently they dont think people have choices to be made by may or june. Like i said, this is a turn off and I dont know if this is how staff act to current students or not. Counting in the huge tuition, is it really worth it? For example I got into Barnes College in st louis, and to whoever still needs a school i would recommend applying there. They are very friendly and time sensitive. They go through snail mail but get stuff sent out to you every 2 weeks and keep you updated. I'm currently on waiting list for spring and summer 2014 but go into Fall 2014. I just dont want to wait that long, which is why I hope NYU still accepts me. But I must tell you, this process does not seem professional at all.

I didnt get an email either. How could one person get that email but no one else. I swear this is a shady way to give out info, just saying. Even if i get accepted i dont know if i would go here over barnes college anymore because of the way the staff handles things. My 2 cents

BrooklynJulie, I feel your pain. I applied from California on February 21st and still no word. I got accepted to Barnes College Nursing school in St Louis Missouri, but that is for Fall 2014. Im so bummed I will have to wait a year if NYU doesn't respond to me. I dont understand what takes so long for them. They should have let all of us know by now, its almost June!. Oh well live to fight another day. Best of luck to you. Michael
