Hi, I went to BALC (Brooklyn site) there is no college degree required. Check cnetnurse.com for detailed info on the program. The course was worth my time. I am now an LPN and will go back to school this year for RN. www.cnetnurse.com

Hope it helps.

What time to what time is the school and how long? Tell me what to study for the entrance exam please.

Thanks.

Hello,

School is from 9:00am- 4:00pm Mon. - Fri.

The website cnetnurse.com has a book from their company that you can use to study for the entrance exam. Applications are avail. online and at the schools starting November 1st.

Hiii. The applications came out today!! You can go to:pntrghi: SPL_SITE to apply either online or by mail. The cost is 45 bucks. You can also buy study guides/ practice tests. You have to score in the 50th percentile in all three categories to take the second test. Wow the raised the bar :banghead:!!! Is anyone else going to do this program?? Good Luck to all that apply!!

Thanks so much to all who replied.

Destine can you tell me which one of those books to buy cause is so many them? What second test? Is the book similar to whats' going to to be on the actual test? Do you think is durable if I'm working full time?

Thanks for taking your time to replied.

Yea there's a lot to chose from. But they all have 150 questions that cover the same things and are written in the same format as the actual test. Each test has different questions but they all have the same three sections - Reading Ability, Numerical Ability, and Language Ability. They have 2 study guides that explain step by step how to arrive at the answers to the questions found on the actual test. The study guide includes 2 practice test. So its pretty much up to you on whether you want a couple of practice test or just invest 55 bucks to the study guide

The second test is called the TABE

I'm full time at my job also and a friend of mine that been through this program said they only accept people that are part time because its a lot of work. People that are full time usually drop out and they don't want that. I would love to stay full time but if they tell me that I have to go part time, then that's the sacrifice that I will have to make.

Hope I helped!!
