has anyone attended this program? i take the entrance test in april and i dont know what to expect. is it very hard? is this program any good?

i cant believe this post is still active im the original poster if any1 cares i never even attended the program i moved upstate and went to boces im currently taking classes for my RN so good luck it took a while but i did it

yes goldwater is fairly new its good though because its very cheap hhc ( harlem,bellvue the city hospitals)also has a program to help their employees become RNs so look into employment with them when you are done.

I graduated from this program (mid-manhattan) in june2010. I am now an LPN attending an RN program as well. Its a good program but take advantage of what you can. no one will spoon feed you anything if you want it you gotta get it yourself. stay on top of the teachers if you need something done (especially towards graduation time) once youre done with the first half of the year the rest is easy breezy (alternating 2 weeks clinicals/class...but you dont get much done in class). word of advice: stay motivated. keep reading. USE THE STUDY GUIDES PROVIDED FOR YOU (not many schools will hand you all the material you need for the year without you having to look). dont get caught up in the politics/gossip (there is plenty) and SPEAK UP if you want something. also as a new grad jobs are few and far between. aim for 85+ average in order to get recommended for a bridge program lpn/rn. message me for my e-mail if anyone has any questions.

I havent received mines yet took exam on 01/22/2011 and nothing yet :confused: I been stalking my mailbox for 2 days now LOL hopefully next week smh its already been 3 weeks...:uhoh3:

I think the paper said 3 weeks so hopefully any day now ...... I'm not so sure how I did ran out of timeon the math section. ... smh

I know...Just nervous lol I had a hard time on the Language section but Im praying I did better then I think so I can take the tabe...:confused:
