those that took the test on the 6th/7th...? took it myself 1st time, had to really rush without much thought just to finish it, overall score it gave me was *121* , I wonder what the process is in KBCC, do they then compare this score with the KB students ? or national? my gpa is 3.94... the english part killed it for me, the last tricky vocal section I guess almost all the way though.

No changes here.... :(

I am so nervous, I feel sick. I need this badly.

Tell me about it. I haven't noticed any changes in my Cunyfirst account. I don't think I got in. Perhaps the weather conditions are making it more difficult for the letters to go out. Regardless, I wish you all good luck.

just got my letter, I GOT IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OHHH THANK G-D! SO FREAKING HAPPY!

thanks! my English score was an 85

Congratulations, queenD85. Would you mind sharing your percentiles on each section as well as your grades for the pre reqs?

Congrats! Did your cunyfirst acct change?

I called a few minutes ago asking if I can take the NLN again with the next wave of pre-nursing students. The woman on the phone said that I got in. I haven't received my letter yet, so it hasn't sunk in.

But I do want to add that you should take whatever's on here with a grain of salt. Since taking the NLN in January 7th, I've been obsessing over it. I've read a lot of Kingsborough related posts claiming that the nursing department considers the verbal section of the NLN the most important. After reading a few comments about that, I cried, thinking that my chances were over. I stressed about it for a month and accepted the fact that I didn't get in because of my verbal percentile, a mere 23. I just wanted to write this in case anyone reads all those Kingsborough related posts about getting accepted and stresses the same way I did. Do your best, but don't fret if your NLN scores are not up to par. More importantly, no one here really knows what the people in the nursing department really think.

My thoughts: The nursing department takes EVERYTHING into consideration.

do you mind sharing your nln scores in each part ? thanks
