Binghamton Applicants- BAT Fall 2013

U.S.A. New York

Published

Hi all,

I just submitted my application to Binghamton for the BAT program for next fall. Didn't see a discussion board yet so figured I would start one. Any other applicants out there?

Also to those with past experience-how did you find a roommate?

thank you amb3858!

I don't think I am living on campus. I think I'd rent off campus, and would be looking for a roommate too!!!

Looks like there's a website provided that lists available housing and people looking for roommates! (http://occ.binghamton.edu.new.htm/) plus I'm guessing social networking never hurts either when everything gets closer! Good luck to everyone :)

AHSSS, OMG I JUST GOT THE EMAIL FROM BING SAYING I GOT ACCEPTED!!!! AHHHHHSSSS :) :D :woot: i also got into stony's, so i'll be in a bit of a dilemma as to whether i should go back to my alma mater OR start fresh at stony. super excited either way.

hope good news will come for all those waiting! please feel free to PM me or ask me any questions about bing. i went there for my undergrad

Congrats spiritedkidd! Tough choice -- they're both great schools. Either one will be awesome, I'm sure. Good luck!

Wow congrats on getting in stony brook!!! I didn't get in there!!! I live 15 minutes away from stony brook if you have any questions!

congrats spiritedkidd!

I applied as a transfer to the 2 year generic program. I was just looking at the DSON website and they ask for a transfer credit evaluation. To everyone that applied did you complete this, is it even a requirement. Thanks.

All I did was set up a phone meeting with one of the admissions ladies, and I emailed her my transcripts ahead of time. She just told me which classes counted and which ones I still needed (for prerequisites). I don't know how it works for the 2-year program, though. I have found them to be a bit disorganized in general, too, so it might be best to just make a phone call rather than relying on online information. Good luck!

How are you all looking for housing?? Anyone looking at University Plaza?

Anyone know of any good, free (or cheap), online A&P resources for reviewing all that A&P I studied almost 15 years ago? When I talked to the person from the DSON before applying, she said I need to know that stuff cold...and it's been a looong time... Thanks!

Twin River Commons looks amazingg!
