Hi all,
I just submitted my application to Binghamton for the BAT program for next fall. Didn't see a discussion board yet so figured I would start one. Any other applicants out there?
Hm sort of sounds like Long Island! It was 59 degrees yesterday and today its grey and tomorrow it's supposed to snowstorm 4 inches. Winter here is totally erratic too....I remember a few weeks ago it was SO cold and windy I could hardly breathe outside but then like I said it was in the high 50s for a week. Weird!
@lwalter2: oh hey, i spent this past summer taking pre-reqs too! i was taking anatomy & physio 1. and yeah i emailed fran last week asking when the decision would be made and she said hopefully by the end of the week, but obviously i havent heard back. i emailed her a lot during the application process so i feel like i may be annoying her hahah
yeahs, about 90 or so sounds about right
I am taking my second chem and microbiology in the spring but have been accepted.
For those in the program or who went to Binghamton for undergrad- where do you think the best areas for housing are? I am beginning to look on Craigslist just out of curiosity but don't know anything about Binghamton.
Also- will anyone else be looking for an apartment to share?
There are definitely some areas that are sketchier than others. It's hard to say where the best place to live is .. I lived on Leroy street on the corner of Murray street and loved the area. Basically anywhere along Murray, Leroy, Chestnut, Walnut, etc. is a great location. The closer you are to Riverside the better. The closer you get to main street, the sketchier it is. Riverside, Leroy and Main street are great locations for buses though. I hope that helps. Google maps might be able to help with the streets! If you have any questions about a specific area, I'd be happy to help :)
