Binghamton Applicants- BAT Fall 2013

Hi all,

I just submitted my application to Binghamton for the BAT program for next fall. Didn't see a discussion board yet so figured I would start one. Any other applicants out there?

I'm in!! :) Now to decide whether to go to Binghamton or Buffalo...

Ahhh I have yet to get a response! Did you email the school of nursing or admissions?

I emailed the school of nursing - the lady I had talked to this summer when I had some questions about prereqs. She seems really nice. Now I wonder whether I would have heard today if I hadn't emailed, or if my email this morning bumped my application up to the top of her pile...I bet you don't have anything to worry about, but it didn't seem like she minded hearing from me so if you send her an email making sure she has everything from you that she needs (or something like that), maybe you'll hear sooner! I never received an e-mail from them but I just got my acceptance letter and packet in the mail today!

I got my acceptance package too, is anyone else confused about it though? The acceptance letter says Summer 2013 and then the admissions deposit letter says Fall 2013. Super confused?

I got the acceptance e-mail a few days ago!!! I'm so excited! I wouldn't worry, for those of you that have not heard yet.. I was getting anxious seeing all of you guys get accepted so I sent an e-mail and heard that I was accepted a day later!! As for the deposit, the program starts in the summer of 2013, but technically the application is for fall 2013, so that could be where all of the confusion is coming from. I can't wait to meet all of you fellow BAT's!! If anyone has any questions about binghamton feel free to message me.. I just graduated from there this December. :)

good for you lwalter!!! How's the weather there!! I'm only coming from Long Island so it's not like I'm a stranger to snow but I really don't do well in the cold...I guess I'm hoping the weather isn't that bad in Binghamton..!

I actually really love Binghamton in the summer. I spent this past summer there taking prereqs for this program. The fall isn't terrible either .. these past two falls have been very mild in binghamton! That being said, the weather is kind of laughed at there, as it is usually ridiculous! It can be 60 and sunny one minute and rainy and freezing the second! I never know what to wear, and it can get freezing cold, but I guess I've gotten used to it. As long as the winters stay as mild as they have been, we'll be fine :)

@lwalter2: CONGRATS!!! who did you email, if i may ask? im getting sooo anxious cus everyone else has heard of a decision and i still havent, as im sure there are others too.

i graduated from bing this past may, so feel free to ask me any questions about it as well. binghamton can be quite ugly in terms of the weather. its bipolar and its cold quite often. the only nice weather comes in the first 1 1/2 months of fall semester and last 1 1/2 months of spring semester lols. during the summer, it gets brutally hot there too :/
