I live in WNY and attend NCCC although I am not in the nursing program yet, I'll be applying for fall 09. However, if you need a place to stay, NCCC has brand new student housing that will be opening in the fall, I would call the school and see what information they can give you on it.

Hi dear,

I am happy to see people in WNY as well. I was just wondering if you could tell me where you went to school, and anything about the lpn program. NCCC is pretty secretive and at this point i have no idea what i am getting myself into. Thank you.

I ran into a woman several years ago that I went to high school with, at the time she was in the RN program at NCCC and all she would say was that it was H*ll. I would love to know more about the program myself but haven't been able to find out much about what it is actually like. All I have heard to this point is basically stay under the radar, if you cross a prof then you are a target. I do not plan on making any waves at all and have convinced myself that I should go to class, do homework, study, and keep my mouth shut.

hello! i also live in niagara falls area and interested in starting the lpn program at nccc. i don't know much about the program and was wondering if anyone could help me. does anyone know how long it takes to get accepted into the lpn program? my ultimate goal is to be a rn, but was wondering if would just be easier to go for the rn since i think? they both take about 2 yrs. to finish or am i wrong? i'll be calling the school next week to see when i can meet with an advisor. if anyone has any info. i would greatly appreciate it! thanks!:p

the lpn program starts in the fall and finishes in august (i think) and the rn program is 2 yrs (4 semesters, no summers). if you are considering rn why not go right in to the rn program?

you can go to their website and look at the divisions, the nursing program is listed there. you can check out the courses for both programs, i got alot of information from there. i refer to it when i am choosing a class so i do not choose something that won't be useful for my rn degree.
