Rutgers ABSN 2012

U.S.A. New Jersey

Published

Hi everyone. I just wanted to start this thread for all the people who are applying to the Rutgers ABSN program so we can stay in touch as we hear back from the school. I believe March 1 is the deadline. Good luck to everyone!

are you doing school-to-school transfer? where do u go to school?

I am graduating from Ithaca College with a bachelors in Gerontology! what about you?

congratulations :) i graduated from RU a few years ago, but am enrolled there now in one of the prereqs. I thought maybe the school-to-school transfer was messing me up...

O really! Well it seems like being from Rutgers is definitely a bonus!!! Hopefully we will hear back soon... the website says April 15 at the latest

i just found this thread. congratulations to snowy_december and onedayitllbeme! and myself! i got admitted too :yeah:! does anyone know on which campus will the courses be held for this summer and fall semesters?

I'm still waiting as well for a school to school transfer. Feels like its taking forever.. My status still says no decision has been made yet.

Congratulations NA2012! @catquint are you planning on calling/emailing the school? Last Friday I was told decisions would be made by April 1. I called yesterday and was told they would call me back. I'm thinking of calling again today because I "just want to know" at this point. Though if I am "on the fence" pestering them with phone calls may not be the best strategy right now. However, I'm pretty sure the lack of a decision means I didn't get in as everyone who is discussing their decision here has an acceptance.

chiasmus100,

i heard all decisions would be posted by april 15th, so it doesn't mean you are rejected if you haven't heard anything yet. instead of calling, i would wait if i were you.

i guess there are still more acceptances coming soon otherwise they would post their final decisions already.

good luck!

You're right. Calling is not a good idea. I think I might swear off checking my application status until the end of week, also. I just wonder if they sent out rejections already at all...

Is anyone else waiting to hear back from Seton Hall (22 month program)?

Thanks for all the congratulations and congrats to everyone as well!

And I agree with montic - decisions aren't all going to be posted up until April 15 the latest, so the best thing is to not give up hope and wait it out.

NA2012 - I believe those semesters will be in Newark, but I'm not 100% sure.

Does anyone have to take the challenge exams? I need to take the one for HIP and developmental psych. I'm not sure what the format is for these exams though :uhoh21:
