Rutgers ABSN 2012

Hi everyone. I just wanted to start this thread for all the people who are applying to the Rutgers ABSN program so we can stay in touch as we hear back from the school. I believe March 1 is the deadline. Good luck to everyone!

Chiasmus- I read a different thread and a few people said they did get rejected from Rutgers. I will search for it and post it here

thanks for posting this! :) its sucks they didn't get in, but honestly gives me more hope about rutgers.

Has any admitted person received an admission packet yet? I'm having a pretty hard time finding any information regarding when the program starts (conflicting information about whether its May or September), how much financial aid is available, where the classes (Newark or New Brunswick) and clinicals will take place, etc. Am I just not looking in the right places?

I haven't received any admission packet yet and we are all in the same situation.

FYI, Base on the schedule from previous years, the orientation will be on the beginning of May and the 1st day of class starts right after the Memorial day weekend....

Not sure about where the summer session will be. Say it is in Newark campus, any commuters from New Brunswick/Middlesex county?

I know the wait is killing me as well. I emailed Dean Esteves yesterday asking when will the status be updated for re-enrollment students, but didn't get a reply. I guess the only thing we can do is wait until the 15th. I'm pretty anxious to know though. Did anyone go to the info session at umdnj yesterday?

I got an email from the dean with orientation date and it said do not hesitate to contact with questions. I am on vacay so don't know if I got any snail mail. :). Have to challenge cultural dimensions enrolled in sub for hip at community now.
