I'm in the program now and will graduate in August this year. Below are answers to your questions. -Does anyone know when the application opens? And where we put which school (Newark or New Brunswick) we'd prefer? Students started receiving acceptance letter from end of march, 2012. They say only 10% of applicants got accepted. In 2012, they accepted 20 students in Newark and 20 students in New Brusnwick. So 40 students in total comparing to 20 students total in 2011. Not sure about this year.... They will put you into the school which is close to your mailing address in your application. You will need to complete all your prereqs or pass the challenged exams by end of Aug. -What specific hospitals does the New Brunswick program use? And for what specialties? Most clinical exercises will be in St. Peter, UMDNJ piscataway and RWJ New Brunswick. Hope it helps. More questions? pls let me know. Good luck!

No difference. I believe you can take classes either in Newark or New Brunswick.

onedayitllbeme, yes, i am in. it didn't say the time and location in the emailed i received. thought you might have more info. than i do. hoho.... be careful when you setup your netid. it asked me to choose the campus but i wasn't sure, so didn't complete it. you don't want to mess up your netid as my friend told me it took much longer to fix it than you would expect. also you will need it for almost everything @rutgers.

yoobin, I haven't received any admission packet yet and we are all in the same situation. FYI, Base on the schedule from previous years, the orientation will be on the beginning of May and the 1st day of class starts right after the Memorial day weekend.... Not sure about where the summer session will be. Say it is in Newark campus, any commuters from New Brunswick/Middlesex county?

Congratulations elvogt! I haven't received any info./pkg yet. Called the school of Nursing@Newark yesterday with some questions and was told they would have answers sometime this week. It seems they are still finalizing.........

chiasmus100, i heard all decisions would be posted by april 15th, so it doesn't mean you are rejected if you haven't heard anything yet. instead of calling, i would wait if i were you. i guess there are still more acceptances coming soon otherwise they would post their final decisions already. good luck!
