Rutgers ABSN 2012

Hi everyone. I just wanted to start this thread for all the people who are applying to the Rutgers ABSN program so we can stay in touch as we hear back from the school. I believe March 1 is the deadline. Good luck to everyone!

no won't be until very end of March (what they said this year), or first week of April (when they told last year)

I actually went through the old threads and saw in previous years some people were notified in mid to early March. I very dorkishly made a list with the dates each time someone claimed to have been admitted... One person said March 11

Really? What year was that? Maybe a different program? Like rn to bsn?

I also am checking everyday, probably more like 2 or 3 times a day! Honestly, the wait is killing me. I have a 3.86 GPA, and a few courses left. (Keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn't keep me from being accepted) Does anyone know how many seats they have?

LoriNJ states she was admitted March 11... But, I am guessing at the end of next week we'll know our fate. Your GPA is really high though. Did you go to Rutgers for undergrad? (sorry I keep asking this lol)

have u already applied to umdnj? i will submit my application as soon as they start taking them for the fall semester. i didnt know they made changes to their requirements.... i would have applied for the may admission had i known cos i was stuck on this socology thing...

Sorry for the late reply. I didn't send my application to UMDNJ. Its available June 1. Hopefully Rutgers will perform a miracle and I won't need to haha.

No, didn't go to Rutgers. can't apply to umdnj since they have a requirement prereqs be within 5 years.

Nope, not yet. I think it will be either Friday or Monday. Did you confirm on phone or anything that your application was all good? status says being considered for accelerated last touched 2/1 but did not hear direct from nursing department that all is well with my application. I assume it is though and am keeping my fingers crossed!
