Anyone successful in getting a license from the BoN already had an application in process and fingerprint/background check complete. Check the BoN website I heard they were offering temporary practice permits (for a fee) for nurses with pending endorsement if requested at the time of application.

They gave me the whole speech about how I had applied only a month ago and my application was complete for only about a week so it would be another 2 months, minimum.
Long story short, I drove to Newark that same day and walked out 10 minutes later with my license in hand.
LOL! I love that 'Take Charge' attitude. Am gonna do same. i just registered online on their website and now am gonna complete verification of my CA license and fingerprinting. Once everything is sent, I definitely will do same.

yes! but I submitted my requirements for endorsement already and it's on there computer processing and they told me today when i called that they just printed my form for finger printing and ready to be sent in my home address. so does that mean i dont need ces?
I know this is 2 years ago, but Did you do the CES? How did your endorsement go?

I have applied for my RN license through endorsement from Texas to New Jersey 0n Dec 14th , still I don't have any updates . The customer care team keep repeating the same 4-8 weeks timing . I was curious why this takes so long , he told they will only start processing once they receive the CGFNS report . From that time it's gonna take another 4-8 weeks . It's sad to say that i applied varification through Cgfns because they told even if they have already a report sent to Texas state , they will send the new report after 8-16 weeks . ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„. I strongly suggest this Cgfns should be removed from this varification process because they are one of the main reason for delaying the rn license . I got Texas license within 2 months only delay was from from this Cgfns . Do anyone know any agencies do this varification ??
