  1. FOR THOSE ASKING ABOUT TOEFL/IELTS, here's my background story since I never had to deal with sending it during endorsement... im a US citizen for like 15 years, studied 4 years in PI only then came back. I also never had to send it when I applied for NY since NY doesnt require it.
  2. actually, cgfns has a request for transcript form that I sent to the school and the school sends it themselves. I do not know if transcripts were sent with it.
  3. I don’t think so? I’m a US citizen even tho I studied in the Philippines so maybe thats why I didn’t have to?
  4. Ah yes i forgot abt that! It did say that when i did CES too. I wss confused whether to sign up for Toefl before then cuz i read everywhere that it was STILL necessary for endorsement. I just waited until NJ BON would tell me to take it or not. Lol. Glad i could help!
  5. You have to prcoess your CES application first. You cant just send your things. Its gonna give you the forms you need to send to your college. I really dont know why i didnt need to take the toefl. They didnt tell me i didnt need to do it or anything. I dont really ask questions, all i did was wait for them to tell me if i had to do it or not. But from my understanding, i AM A US CITIZEN. I already passed my nclex i just need endorsement, so why did i need to take toefl for?
  6. CES professional. For my HS diploma, i sent it. But for my college transcripts, i had my college send it. Im not sure abt sending college transcripts on your own.
  7. I never had to send my high school transcript. Just the diploma to NJ BON. And you wont be able to submit your NJ endorsement without sending your CES first
  8. I have a post regarding the steps i went through for endorsement.
  9. Yes i studied in the Philippines.
  10. I never had to do english test. I just got my endorsement license in dec.
  11. Hi graduated from trinity university if asia
  12. I am posting this to help 1) Nursing Foreign Grads (I'm from Philippines) 2) People who want to endorse RN NY license to NJ. I was having a hard time figuring out the steps for get my NY license to NJ and could'nt really find a specific article or blog about others' experiences with it so I decided to post my own experience to help others in some way. Long story short; I graduated 2016 from Phil. Applied for NY license 2 months after and got my license August 2017. My relatives in NJ decided it was gonna be hard for me to get a job in NY right away so I applied for endorsement on October 2017. Here's the steps that I did: 1. CGFNS CES - I started this on October 12, 2017. For this process, I called CGFNS if they still needed me to send my College transcript (remember I already sent a CGFNS with NY license) They said yes but they would only just take a look at it. They also needed my High School transcript. By end of Oct, I got a job interview and got accepted awaiting my reciprocity ofcourse so I couldn't start yet. By November 14, there was still no word from CGFNS, so I EXPEDITED the process because I was desperate, I waited for a year for my NY application due to CGFNS before. TWO DAYS LATER, it was ISSUED REPORT. 2. NJ LICENSE BY ENDORSEMENT ONLINE APPLICATION - started on November 16, 2017. I had to upload a passport photo with a signature in the back. - November 24, 2017 they sent me a letter to schedule fingerprinting/background check. Available was on November 28, 2017. It was updated on the website the next day. - Dec 1, 2017 I sent my Nursys verification. I made a mistake of not resending my Nursys verification during start of my application (i sent it before when I did a paper application for reciprocity which they didnt accept I had to do online.) December 4, 2017...I missed the Dec 4 job orientation since they didn't release my number yet, so I was gunning for Jan 4 now. I called NJ BON about my application and they told me it was still under review and it would take long due to me being foreign graduate. I told them this application was only for ENDORSEMENT and I don't understand why it was taking so long. Then they just told me to atleast allow 10 business days for the processing. December 15, we drove to Newark to POSSIBLY walk out with my license since that's what I was hearing. I called them first though and they said the same thing again. When I got there they also told me the same thing. They said the process does take a while for endorsement. I told them that I was desperate since the next job orientation was January 4 and I don't wanna miss it, my job application had been on hold for atleast 2 months. NO LUCK driving there. December 18, 2017, I called them again and begged for them to process my application fast. Still no luck. I then decided to give a long email to NJ BON. The next day I did the same thing of emailing them and asking them to please process my application. The next day I did the same thing again IN THE MORNING LOL... I was on break at work around 12PM when my relatives messaged me that my license # was posted online!!!!! YAY! So that's my story....hopefully it will help someone.
  13. Hi do you know what does Verification - Requires button in center means? Is that the nursys verification? I've done it 2 weeks ago and it's still unchecked that's why...
