Recent Changes on New Jersey Nursing Licensure by Endorsement (Reciprocity) Requirements for nurses that had their nursing education outside USA: All applicants must apply and submit CGFNS' Credentials Evaluation Service Professional Report ( Credentials Evaluation Service Professional Report® | CGFNS International | Global Credibility) . Per NJ BON, this is to ensure that applicants' nursing education from other country match the standards of nursing education in NJ. This changes took effect last April of 2015. We questioned the NJ Board of Nursing why this changes is not reflected on the Application Packet. The answer that we got is that they send mails instructing applicants to submit CGFNS CES Professional report. Again, above requirement applies to nurses that hold active RN License from other states but had nursing education outside the United States of America. This means that after you pass the NCLEX and got you RN license from New York and you wanted to be licensed in NJ, you have to apply and submit CES Professional report from CGFNS to NJ BON. CES cost around $350. CES is different from CGFNS' CVS that was submitted to NY Board of education.
