What are the steps to RE-APPLY for the NCLEX-RN in FLORIDA??? please help..

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hello everyone,

I failed the nclex-rn on the first try. My understanding is that I need to submit my

re-application form to FBON by mail and with a personal check of $90..Do I need to do new fingerprints/background again???

Before the 45 days, I can also apply to Pearson and pay 200$....Once the 45 days is up, is when I can select a day for the nclex..Is this right????

If there is anyone outhere in Florida with the similar process please let me know.

Thank you so much for your help! God bless!

I am planning to take HURST for content and NCSBN/Saunders 5th/NCLEX 4000 for questions..what do you think?

I took only Kaplan for content and q's...it wasn't enough for me:/

I am sure I will succeed next time around :) NEVER GIVE UP!!!

retakes in FL are done in written application and not online anymore

you have to send your application by mail and 90.00 check/money order, you can register with pearson and pay 200 when you feel like it.. u don't have to wait , when your application is approved by the state you will get your ATT, then you can book your test date...You do not have to redo your fingerprints........Good luck

thank you angels!.. has anyone done hurst review for content?..

I applied twice to Florida. Second time i sent a written application through mail with $90 fee.Yup, once if you have done with finger prints,no need to submit again. Finger prints are valid for 5 years(told by BON). And i recently took Hurst live review classes. It was helpful in content area. As per my opinion, it is very good. Good luck.

thank you so much for your reply :) I will be getting the Hurst review for sure...I am ready to master the content and ready to pass this test. I am planning to do NCSBN, Hurst, Saunders and ATI for questions? Do you think is enough? How long does it take to finish Hurst online review? thank you for your help! :)

FYI..I just called FLBON..fingerprints are good for one year..:)

hi,I am reapplying the nclex second time , why the reexamination fee for florida board of nursing is 50 now?

And, is the written applition only way? Can I apply online?

Thank you!

Can I reapply right away after I failed or do I need to wait for 45 days for me to be able to reapply for the examination? I hope you can help me with this.

Can we reapply before the 45 days of our first attempt? I'm so confuse I want to reapply but someone told me to wait 45 days to be able to submit my te application for examination. Please help

You can reapply before the 45 days, just can't take the test before 45 days.
