Waiting for NCLEX RN results and PVT

So I took my NCLEX RN Friday the 14th @ 1400 in sacramento. I did he PVT right when u got to my car and got the good pop up. I have tried the PVT Saturday, Sunday and Monday as well each time greeting the same message... I am no nervous! The wait is killing me! I had 148 questions and it took me 3 hours. I know a lot of my class mates have gotten results in under 48 hours and they all used the PVT And passed! A couple of friends took the exam on a Friday and had results by Tuesday AM @ 1030. Well it's Tuesday @1200 and not name on the breeze. I know I should be patient but man oh man!!!! Does anyone know if there were extended wait times because of the pearson vue page being down? Any one not have the PVT not work for them? How long have people waited in CA for their results?

PVT matches what you think the results should be most of the time. NOT ALL, and yes sometimes it's going to charge you or attempt to charge you even though you passed. Sometimes it won't let you proceed ('good pop up') and then later attempt a charge....again, whether you passed or not. It's Russian Roulette with a credit card ;). If you like playing the odds, it's *LIKELY* you passed. If you graduated from a US nursing program and this is your first time at NCLEX you have an approximately 85% chance of passing. At least as good as the PVT guess, LOL....

If there was a Hold placed on your exam for any reason (power issues at the site, palm scan that didn't take the first time, standing up when you weren't supposed to, etc) then that can delay the time until your results are released. BreEZe is pretty up to date, it seems, at least every few days.

My advice? Get off the computer. Go DO something, anything, to get your mind off of this. You'll find out in a few days if you have a license (BreEZe) and that's that.

It can take a few weeks or a month to get the snail mail from the BoN; don't make yourself insane until then, please!

My house is spotless, I've been hiking and my dog is exhausted form walks :down:. Thanks for your advice! It did not take my credit card... Thank goodness! I will post results when I receive them.

any word yet? I took my test yesterday got the good pop up from PVT and still good as of 24 hours I am praying my results pop up on breeze tomorrow or I will die from the anticipation! I applaud you for surviving such a long wait!!!!!

No word yet!! Breeze was down for almost 48 hourS and the BRN had no access to their server as well so everything has been delayed. At least this is what I was told when I called. Tomorrow will mark one week. I still get the good pop up but it is torturous. I have a job pending so I really need my license number! Here hoping to get breeze results tomorrow! If not next week will be another long wait. The BRN has up to 4 weeks to post and send results, I'm praying it's not that long! Good luck to you:laugh:! Please post when you get results :D. All of my class mates have received breeze results in 48 hours. Guess I'm not that lucky...

Omg that is crazy I cannot wait that long! yikes! definitely call the BRN tomorrow and see what is up. Good luck keep us posted!

Does anyone know when or how often CA breeze updates their site!?

I took my exam Thur Aug 20 as well... the wait is killing me do you guys know if the website processes during weekends since its not a business day? I'm expecting results to come by monday but i'll def be checking every other second till then :( lol

Hi WANNAbeRN15 - Did you find out if you passed? I took my NCLEX for the 2nd time on Friday at 2pm. Everyone says I'm probably going to hear by tomorrow (Tuesday). I'm really nervous. I'm too afraid to do the PVT. My Breeze application as also disappeared. I've heard others who have also taken the exam a 2nd time their application disappeared too and they still passed. I was wondering if thats what happened to you. Thanks
