Hi! I am also planning to take NCLEX but so scared that I will fail because I graduated 9 years ago and no clinical practice..

It's normal feeling to be scared. I took the exam and I'm still scared to do it again because you never know what questions they are throwing at you and how you are doing. But, for my advantage, at least I have an experience of what it is like and all that. However, I am still scared though. I channeling my fear to help boost my motivation. If I know my materials and test taking strategies, then I know I take the exam with confidence and less anxiety. We need to stay positive!! We can do this!!

I heard UWORLD is great but i don't want to put the whole trust there, you may never know. Some have used UWORLD and still fail.

You don't need to be scared to write. Same thing is happening to me but i want to pick courage and start studying. You need to start from scratch with content. I will be doing the same thing when am ready, lol just preparing my mind for now.

Yes. Saunders and Uworld is a good start. They are both good for contents. I feel a little bit confident now answering maternity questions. I'm still iffy with growth and development though hahaha

Saunderes have too much content.you just need to know the basics. Not the whole book

True. But remember thus will be my second time. Most people here who weren't successful on their first try but passed said that you need to start from scratch. So, that's what I did. It's very tedious but I'm halfway with the book.

You have to know your basic content . That is very important.

Thank you! When I started with Saunder's I was only on performing 60 plus % on the test so I read page per page more than half of the book. It is a lot of information.. hehehehe Uworld questions are more difficult and was only performing 40 plus %.Hopefully I can finish the uworld questions and rationales prior to the test.Thank you so much!
