Taking NCLEX tomorrow

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hello everyone!

This is my first time taking NCLEX tomorrow at 8am. I stopped studying yesterday because there is no point of cramming. However, my anxiety is up in the roof! Any last minute suggestions? Encouragement? Please let me know and wish me luck!!

I went to the beach, prayed to St. Jude and now trying to relax!

I hope I pass!!

Yes that picture is the good pop up. Congratulations ???

Sent from my iPhone using allnurses

let us know how it went.....

i GOT THE GOOD POP UP!

What books did you study for nclex exam?I really need to know.......

I studied exam cram (but only minor); PDA by LaCharity, Saunders and Kaplan questions. I honestly just did questions every day and minimum content because I realized, there's no point of cramming all the information

Congrats Pinky! You passed!

Aren't you glad you didn't completely rely on Kaplan scores? Haha!

@supermuse yes! Plus the discouragement from kaplan instructor motivated me to face and tackle the beast!!! So relieved!!! I checked my Pearson uve more than 10 times already! Haha

Thank you everyone!! I will post my success story soon! That was like a sudden death for me. Haha

Congratulations how did you still I have failed 3 times so far I have had many health issues which have been difficult for me I want to retest at the end of March any tips on how to study for this beast I want to pass this test more than anything in the world!

Advice from here is one thing that helped me boost my confidence! Honestly, I barely studied content because I just graduated in December. I did questions after questions after questions. Minimum 100/day. Know your lab values is the main thing! I didn't use kaplan decision tree, but rather read each question at least 3 times and then used the process of elimination. Know your meds. My meds did not have brand names. ONLY GENERIC NAMES.

You can do it!!! Take your time and do not stress out too much! Whenever you feel lost, visit allnurses and read the threads (they helped me a lot!)

I used:

Kaplan 100% Qbank and all Question Trainer

LaCharity PDA

Exam Cram for content (minimum content review)

Saunders (additional content but also minor)

Phone apps (I downloaded all free NCLEX apps)

NCLEX Style quizzes - NCLEX HELP (this site helped me as well)

Quizlet.com (I searched NCLEX and it has tons of content and NCLEX questions)

That's a good sign. Everyone I have talked to that did that trick, passed. It is real. Congrats! Mine shut off at 75 as well I took a break at 74, came back and answered 1 question and it shut down. What a relief! I bet you feel great!

I wasn't expecting mines to shut off at 75 because I felt like I was doing bad. Before I clicked next, I kept saying "please don't shut off. I need more questions" and then it shut off haha! It feels great !!

Congrads pinky!!
