How do I train my brain to learn how to do these stupid things correctly....I can't get them right to save my life...I either forget one or add one....I'm so frustrated....

Is there a site where there are lots of theses to practice???

I know how u feel..so horrible..I missed 1 or I add 1... Saunders and lippincott had a tons of SATA Q&A..

they are soooo awful....they say to look at each answer as true or false....doesnt help me much tho! i think you have to really know the content extremely well in order to answer SATA questions...

also, i have nclex 4000 where you can specifically choose to only have SATA questions....idk if nclex 3500 does the same but i know nclex 3500 is free somewhere on the internet

NCLEX 3500 they got 194 alternative Q&A.. I guess ur ryt u need to understand the content..

The best way to go about SATA questions is to treat each answer as a T/F answer. Does the answer make the question true? If it does check it, if it doesn't leave it blank. That is what I do with them.

I took my NCLEX-RN this AM. I finished with 75 ?s of which 20 were SATA. I agree with Haganwood. The best way is to treat each question like a True or False question. I read that tip here on Allnurses. Although I don't have "official confirmation" I believe that this approach helped me to suceed with these questions. Also you may want to remember that there is usually always more than 1 correct answer. Good Luck!

Thanks for the advice. I will remember the T/F.

I also have NCLEX 4000 but I need to have a PC to run it....maybe I can talk my dd into letting me use hers..

Good advice here, I too had a lot of sata on my nclex exam. A rule of thumb I used is that if one of the statements were "borderline" I would click it. I found that studying for the test I was very conservative in checking them so I would often get them wrong.
