NCLEX on Tuesday, need some encouragement

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I have my test on Tuesday morning at 8 am. I am scared to death. I have not got to study that much the past couple of weeks because my boyfriend of 7 years passed away two weeks ago from AML leukemia. He had been fighting it on and off for the past 6 years. I took care of him the whole time he was sick. He came home with hospice, but I basically took care of him. I took care of him the last six days of his life. It was hard but I loved him so much I did it. I miss him being here now encouraging for the NCLEX. I just feel like I don't know enough to pass. I have been trouble concentrating. I would just like for all my all nurses friends to pray that I pass. If you have any last minute ideas for me, I would appreciate it. Thanks for listening.

Quietly do your best, or reschedule and give yourself some needed time to grieve and to properly prepare. Your boyfriend would want you to do what is best for your success as well as your health. Best wishes and our condolences.

Hi blynn9173

I am so sorry for your lost. I have been with my BF too for 7 years and although he is still here with me, I know how you feel to loose a loved one dear to you after several years. You got to keep your headup (easier said than done, I know), your BF would want this from you, he is watching over you now and he will guide you through this. He knows how important this is to you. " Remember" If you do not make it this time, maybe it was not your time, just jump back on the wagon and do it again. You may think that you have not studied enough but you may surprise yourself (Don't give up)!! We all think we are not ready when we go and take the test, like we have not studied enough!! Most people surprise theirselves and are very successful at the test. I will be praying for you to pass and keep you in my prayers.

Revelations 3:8

When God leads you to the edge of the cliff, trust Him fully and let go, only 1 of 2 things will happen, either He'll catch you when you fall, or He'll teach you how to fly! 'The power of one sentence! God is going to shift things around for you today and let things work in your favor.
