Hello beautiful people!I am going to graduate this May, holly Molly I thought I would never see this day lol.I am supper excited but at the same time terriified of facing the real nursing world. I have been reading many-many of your posts, and I want to congratulate all of you who have passed the nclex, and those who have not, I wish you the best of luck in the future. I have read that the nclex contains a lot of SATA questions, can any of you post some categories. For instance: are the questions about prioritizing, delegating etc. I hate SATA questions.Thank you :)

My NCLEX experience is now a blur. If you hate SATA questions which most of us do, I say do a lot of those questions until you are comfortable with them.

I just had several of my fellow classmates take their NCLEX. Several said that they had a ton of SATA questions. Especially those who passed with 75 questions. No one said what they were though, sorry.

I can't really remember about category but I was freaking out about it before exam. While taking Nclex I felt they were really easy, they could vary from technique to disease process. Good luck!!

SATA can be interventions, fundamental procedures, pt teaching, side effects of meds, signs and symptoms of diseases, development growth of a child immunization, procedural positions, and a lot more. My best advice is to know your content and meds to prepare for this type of question.

I had 10 SATA and passed with 90 questions. some were put in order etc You really can't predict what the questions will be, they are random as hell. However, generally I thought Kaplan SATA from the Q banks and Q trainer tests were a bit harder.

My NCLEX is kind of a blur, but I remember I had some SATA questions, which I too am not crazy about. My best advice to you is to know your content but don't over-think it. Practice standard questions and get good at those and then move on to SATA. What helps me in these types of questions is to think OK what do I need to know here or what is important, what am I looking for or what would be my patient instructions. If you are not sure make your best educated guesses and look the answers up in your study good (don't forget to read the rationale as this will help guide you to figuring out what you got wrong or why you answered it correctly). I don't remember the NCLEX being as hard as I set myself up for it to be so just relax, prepare yourself and you will be fine.
